Based in Malmö, Sweden
In my work I explore combining movement and sound in a sculptural and material-based practice, working with my hands with clay, wood and found material for weaving or composing sculpture. With an interest in locally available materials, tradition and connection and reconnection with material, I search for ways to be in touch and to see what can be allowed to be expressed in that meeting. I enjoy working performatively with focus on improvisation or with site-specific installation and sculptural works that can be interacted with; touched, worn, balanced, played, or listened - to, with or through.

Welcome to a performance project in playful research with trumpet and clay.
I want to take this opportunity to share my work and interest in clay, a very foundation for our agricultural society as well as a shape that allows itself to form a cavity, a room for tone, supportive in both physical and spiritual needs. I want to initiate a sculptural dance, an improvisation in playful mobility and plasticity, shaped, holding and moulded in conversation.
I would be most joyous if you would like to come and share the afternoon with me.
Welcome to my showing, 17:30 on the 22:nd of October. The event is free but please be on time as the doors will close 17:30. Doors open from 17:00.
The project has been financed with the grant Kulturkraft from the city of Malmö.
In collaboration with Annika Inez, artist and jewelry designer based in NY. This spring, I had the great honor to serve as inspiration for, and to model for her remarkable hairpin. Read and see all about it at annikainez.com
